As a remote freelancer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch web hosting jobs to our clients through the creation of web hosting setup gigs on tennerr. We are looking for someone who is passionate about web hosting and has experience in setting up web hosting companies. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
Job Purpose:
The Web Hosting Setup Specialist will be responsible for setting up web hosting companies for our clients. You will create and customize web hosting packages, manage server configurations, and provide technical support to our clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and customize web hosting packages for clients
- Set up and manage server configurations
- Provide technical support to clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web hosting
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Develop and implement new web hosting strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in web hosting setup and management
- Knowledge of cPanel, WHM, and other web hosting management tools
- Strong technical skills and experience with Linux servers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CloudLinux and Cloudflare
- Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, and other programming languages
- Understanding of web security and backup protocols
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM or OpenVZ
- Familiarity with DNS management and domain registration
