tennerr® is seeking an experienced Managed WordPress Developer to join our team and work remotely. As a Managed WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom WordPress sites for our clients. We are looking for someone who is passionate about WordPress and can create unique and innovative solutions.
Job Purpose:
As a Managed WordPress Developer, your main purpose will be to design and develop custom WordPress websites that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines. You will be responsible for creating custom themes and plugins, implementing best practices for security and performance, and providing ongoing maintenance and support for WordPress websites.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create custom WordPress themes and plugins that meet clients’ needs.
- Perform site updates, maintenance, and backups.
- Provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot issues.
- Optimize website performance for faster load times and better user experience.
- Implement best practices for website security and SEO.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with website hosting and server administration.
- Knowledge of website security best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with popular WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, and Yoast SEO.
