Job Purpose: We are seeking a talented and creative individual who is passionate about progressive politics and streetwear fashion to join our team as a freelancer. The Fashionable Freelancer will be responsible for creating unique and eye-catching designs that promote progressive political ideas and messages through clothing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop unique designs for progressive political streetwear, including t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and create custom designs that meet their needs
- Keep up to date with current fashion and political trends, and incorporate them into designs
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs are produced to the highest quality
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio of fashion design work, with a focus on streetwear and/or politically themed designs
- Strong understanding of progressive political issues and messaging
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sustainable fashion and production practices
- Familiarity with graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Working Conditions:
