ROLE PURPOSEWorking in partnership with other organizations is central to tennerr. tennerr board has identified working in partnership as a key program approach and one of the company’s priorities in the 2022 – 2023 tennerr Strategic Plan (NSP).The Partnership Associate will be responsible for delivering on this strategy, working to secure new partnerships throughout the world. The Partnership Associate will be responsible for undertaking activities with regard to the professional engagements of tennerr. The Partnership Associate will map and identify new partnership opportunities, assess partner organization capacities, and provide ongoing support to the partner organization throughout the program implementation once a partnership has been formed.  S/he will work with the tennerr Operations team to ensure that partnership agreements are in place and requirements are complied with by the partner organizations throughout the duration of the partnership agreement. Role Dimensions: (e.g. complexity, relationships, communication with stakeholders)Our Partnerships Associate is a marketing professional specialized in implementing and developing commercial and strategic relationships with organizations in accordance with the company’s overarching objective, strategic goals, and strategies.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Partnership Associate Duties:Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits.Research partners tennerr® can join forces with, identify key players and generate interest. Negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with the company’s contract guidelines and policiesDeliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization – you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internallyForecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships. Keep a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership. Developing metrics to measure ROI from partnerships. Desirable:At least 2 years experience in a partnership development roleThe ability to speak and write in English and another local language (s) is highly desirable.National level representation with key stakeholders and co-ordinationPostgraduate or Master’s degree in International relations, Social Sciences, project management, and development relevant field Good skills and experience in all aspects of program cycle management – design and development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation
